There's no better way to celebrate Christmas than with a dip in the North Sea! But if you would prefer to stay dry and cheer on those brave enough to don their bathers, pop along to one of the many Christmas Day Dips on The Suffolk Coast.
The annual Christmas Day Swim in Lowestoft takes place at 10am on Lowestoft beach, in front of the Hatfield Hotel. The swim is raising money for a number of local charities and those who have registered can use the changing facilities provided at the hotel.
Online registration closes at 5pm on 21st December 2016, so if you want to dip, be quick!

Taking place at 10.30am on Christmas morning, the swim at Southwold takes place on the beach in front of Gun Hill and is raising money for the East Anglian Air Ambulance, Southwold RNLI and Waveney Sailability.
Fancy dress is encouraged, but if you choose to stay warm and dry, you can find a spot on the promenade.

Kick starting the event and warming up the swimmers in Felixstowe, will be a Zumba class at 9.45am, with the swim following at 10am.
Registration takes place from 8.30am opposite Manning's Amusement Park, Sea Road, Felixstowe. All participants will receive a festive hat to wear, with all proceeds going to St Elizabeth's Hospice.
