Don't you just love a fete!

Quintessentially British, the village fete is a summer tradition that we love here on The Suffolk Coast... be it a traditional country fair, a school fete or a summer fun day there's sure to be something happening for you to enjoy! We scoured the land for fetes and fairs, and will update this list as and when we discover more!

Saturday 11th July - Teddy Bears Picnic - Oulton Broad
11am to 4pm - Children are invited to bring their teddies for a unique and special train ride. There will be many other attractions including a bouncy castle, pony rides, face painting (p.m.), children's tombola, name the teddy, and much more. Adults are admitted FREE and children's tickets are £4 each (which includes a picnic lunch).

Saturday 11th July - Garden Fete
2pm - 4pm Garden Fete at the Cotman Residential Home.
Lots of stalls, refreshments, Pimms and beer tent, tombola, cakes and live music.

Saturday 11th July - Fun and entertainment at Oaklands House Summer Fete
Oaklands House Residential Home in Reydon, Southwold, is inviting friends, family and the local community to come along and take part in its annual summer fete. Starting at 2.00pm and continuing until 4.00pm. Visitors can chance their luck on the tombola, enter raffles, or have a go at some of the many traditional games on offer. There will be stalls to visit plus guests can also sample the delights on offer at the scrumptious cake stands or enjoy some light refreshments. All money raised on the day will go to the residents’ activities fund for days out and entertainment.

Friday 17th July - Summer BBQ
St Benet's School in Beccles are hosting their annual Summer BBQ on the school
field at 5:00 till 7:30pm. With have a licensed bar, independent craft stalls, BBQ and lots of games.

Saturday 18th July - Old Felixstowe Nursery Summer Fete
11am - 2pm - BBQ, Little Kickers football session (1130), Princess Elsa photo op (1200-1300), POLOZ Majorettes, raffle, kids tombola, face-painting, ceramics workshop, craft activities, home-made jams, cakes and refreshments, stalls, bouncy obstacle course and story-telling.

Starts 10am to 3pm - Beach Farm Park in Pakefield are hosting this summer fair with indoor stalls, face painting, tattoos, sand craft, popcorn and candy floss, games, bouncy castle, plus food stalls including crepes and local
ice cream and BBQ.

Saturday 1st August - Reydon Village Show
A traditional village show with vegetable, cake, art and photography competitions.

Sunday 2nd August - Blue Cross Fun Day and Dog Show
11am - 3pm - Annual fun day and dog show. Various classes for all the family including most handsome dog and best rescue dog. Doggy activities, dog scurry, refreshments, merchandise, animal welfare stands, bouncy castle and kids corner.
