For one weekend only, the picturesque Victorian farm buildings of Easton Farm Park are set to be transformed into a celebration of Americana!
The Maverick Festival makes a welcome return to The Suffolk Coast boasting the very best in Roots music from both sides of the Atlantic - Now in its 8th year, the event goes from strength to strength…
Festivities are due to kick off on Friday 1st July with the jamboree in the Barn, followed a full programme on Saturday that will include music and dance, performances and workshops spread across four stages.
And, there’s no rest until Sunday 3rd July when the sanctified sounds of the Gospel Brunch bring this lively event to a close.
There’s a great line up this year including Amelia White,, Barbara Nesbitt, Hymn for Her, Los Pacaminos and The Sultans of String to name but a few! If you’re a Jimmie Rogers fan there’s no doubt that you will be in your element as Maverick presents a programme of his classics sung by a line-up of special guests.
Local vendors will be on hand to provide some tasty offerings which are bound to tickle everyone’s taste buds…pizza, Paella and pasta, Mexican chili, and for those with a sweet tooth the award winning ice-creams, crepes and cupcakes will go down a treat!
Of course there’s always time for a little retail therapy between events – Drop by The Native American Trading Post where you’ll find all things Native American, including traditional and contemporary jewellery and crafts
The wonderful thing about The Maverick Festival is that it’s designed for all the family to enjoy in a clean, civilised environment which is family and pet friendly and what’s more because ticket prices are so reasonable and kids under 10 are free it’s an affordable fun weekend for all to enjoy!
