Adnams at The Boat Race

Employees at Adnams have been embracing the partnership between Adnams and The Boat Races with their very own rowing challenge. The business has been split into four teams, with each of the four executive directors acting at Coxswains and rallying their teams to row the distance of Southwold Pier to Putney Pier and back again. It’s certainly brought out the competitive side in people!

Commenting on Adnams’ activity at this year’s Boat Races, Emma Hibbert, Marketing Director at Adnams, said: "We are delighted to become the official beer partner of The Boat Races. The event is steeped in history and there is always a lot of anticipation surrounding the Races, with supporters coming together and lining the banks to cheer on their team. The atmosphere along the river is always exciting, which is something we are keen to add to on the day at the Adnams Fan Park in Furnivall Gardens. We will also spread the excitement to fans of The Boat Races across the world with social media, sharing updates, insight and lots of pictures on the day.

“This is the first year that Adnams will be the Official Beer Partner of The Boat Races and our sponsorship of the event will continue for the next six years and we are really excited to support such a prestigious event.”

The Boat Races will take place on Sunday March 27th 2016. The Women's Boat Race will begin at 3.10pm, with The Boat Race starting at 4.10pm.
