Latitude – who to watch

This weekend sees Latitude return to the Henham Estate, near Southwold.

Latitude has grown in size and popularity since it first began back in 2006 and this year’s line-up promises to keep Latitude at the top of the ‘to do’ list of festival goers across the UK.

The Obelisk Arena at the top of the hill overlooks the whole site and will provide a unique and perfect soundtrack to the weekend’s festivities and will showcase:

The Maccabees, Obelisk, New Order, Beirut, Chvrches, M83, Father John Misty, John Grant, The Lumineers, Courtney Barnett, Daughter, Chet Faker, British Sea Power, Squeeze, Laura Mvula, Bear’s Den, Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night, Michael Kiwanuka, Junun Feat. Shye Ben Tzur & The Rajasthan Express, Sweats, Sidestepper, Sturgill Simpson, The Rajasthan Express, Emmy the Great and Alif.

The BBC Radio 6 Music Stage will showcase the best alternative and left field music across a multitude of different genres including Grimes, Soulwax and Of Monsters and Men.

The Sunrise Arena nestles under a canopy of trees in the Latitude woods and showcases the most exciting music stars of tomorrow in a truly atmospheric woodland setting.

The Lake Stage presents a line-up of stars of the future, curated by BBC Radio 1 DJ and broadcaster Huw Stephens featuring:

Loyle Carner, Billie Marten, Clean Cut Kid and many more famous names of the future!

The comedy line up once again sets the bar high for summer festivals and includes Josh Widdicombe, Russell Howard, Bill Bailey, Al Murray, Milton Jones and a host of very funny up and coming comedians.

And if that wasn’t enough to make you grab your camping gear and head to Latitude there’s also theatre, dance, literature, film, poetry, Pandora’s Playground and the Inbetweener’s Stage.
