Treat your Mum this Mothers Day

It’s the time of year when we say thank you to all the mums, step-mums, grandmothers and aunties for all  they have done, and what better way to show her how much she means to you than with a day out on The Suffolk Coast

We've put together some Mother's Day ideas for you, that are guaranteed to put a smile on your mum’s face.

1. For the animal lover

A day out at Africa Alive! is a fun day out for the whole family, and your mum will love being able to spend the time with her nearest and dearest alongside the animals of the African savannah.  Be sure to check out the lemurs and giraffes and book her a ‘Meet the Lions’ experience. The best bit is, mums go free on Mother's Day, simply download the voucher available at www.africa-alive.co.uk

2. For the shopaholic

Take your mum to Snape Maltings to wander around the vintage market; picking up vintage clothes, antique furniture and 20th century finds. Afterwards, peruse the shops including homewares, food, children's wear and toys, stationary and art. After choosing her a gift from one of the shops, you can enjoy a delicious lunch in Café 1885

3. For the adrenalin junkie!

If your mum loves nothing but getting stuck in right at the heart of the action, a day at Beacon Rally Karts is the perfect Mother's Day out! Set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside, just a short drive from Woodbridge, Beacon Rally Karts have 3 tracks to accommodate both children and adults, so the whole family can join the fun.

Booking is essential and whilst the track is open throughout the year, the karts can’t run if it’s wet weather so calling ahead to check is advised.

4. For the outdoor lover

Spend a day on the farm at Easton Farm Park, where you can meet a whole host of cute, cuddly animals (join the Hug a Bunny and meet the babies sessions) take a ride on the farm train or even a pony!

Whilst there children will love running around in the soft play area, whilst mum can sit back, relax and enjoy a slice of cake and hot chocolate.
