Snape Maltings is home to an array of independent shops, galleries and cafés. House & Garden offers a delightful selection of homewares, furniture, children’s toys and gifts, clothing and more. The Courtyard Garden offers a selection of locally grown plants and foliage to adorn your garden at home. You will also find the Craft Shop nestled on the Quay and of course the wonderful Food Hall, offering an array of Suffolk produce and artisan treats.

Culture at Snape Maltings

You cannot visit Snape Maltings without seeing the stunning Concert Hall. Originally built for the Aldeburgh Festival, it is now a thriving venue offering concerts and performances of all genres, from world class opera to jazz, folk and of course classical.

Alongside the music you will also discover art galleries and sculpture. The Family of Man (1970) sculpture by Barbara Hepworth stands proudly by the reedbeds, framing the stunning views.
