As the sun sets, walk down to the riverside, over the station bridge and take a stroll along the banks of the Deben. You can hear the relaxing sounds of the moored boats bobbing on the water, and catch glimpses of the river wildlife.
Standing proudly on the river is The Tide Mill. It is one of the oldest tide mills in the UK and a source of inspiration for thousands of artists and photographers over the decades. (If you are arriving in Suffolk by sea, the nearby harbour is a great place to moor.)
