Cleone's Italian Restaurant

Cleone's Italian Restaurant - named after the original Maitre D' - was established at The Angel in Halesworth in the Spring of 1995. 

From the outset, the aim has been to offer seasonal menus featuring classic dishes from Italy's extremely varied culinary regions - but most importantly, to prepare every dish in the typical 'home style' Italian way.

The menus include starters, pastas, salads, breads, meat and fish main courses, sweets and coffees. There is an appealing and reasonably priced wine list along with the range of beers and other drinks available from The Angel bar.

Special dietary requirements are catered for where possible with notice but many dishes are already gluten free and there are vegetarian and vegan options too. And as everything is made in house, dishes can be adapted to suit all tastes - and often are!

Booking is already advisable for Friday and Saturday evenings whilst the popular 'Pizza and Pasta' night on Wednesdays can also be very busy as the offer includes a free carafe of wine for every two main course pizzas or pastas ordered.

Opening times are 12-2pm and 5.30 -8.30pm daily throughout the year except for Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Bookings can now be made for bar and courtyard tables too.
