Magical Marshes

Sunday 24th July 2011, 11am – 5pm

A day of play for all the family Snape Maltings, £1 per person A Family Friendly Event, especially appealing to under tens, mums, dads and grandparents.… Just turn up and be amazed, as the marshes brim with magicians, music, tightrope walkers, creative workshops, dance, film, circus skills and the pied piper… plus guided walks, storytelling, face painting. Access and Facilities: Sited in the beautiful grounds of Snape Maltings, overlooking the river and the marshes.

Activities include:- 10 all day workshops to create fairies, willow creatures, musical instruments and more Storytelling to bring favourite characters alive Marsh treasure hunts and fancy dress. The pied piper will lead you through the marshes to beguiling music.. Drumming with Junk Funk Tightrope walkers and jugglers will amaze Our mobile magician will play tricks on you Crazy bikes, circus skills, giant games. The mini Olympics and tug of war competitions.. Film bus, revisiting much loved classics… Dance workshops, led by DanceEast Organised by Suffolk Coastal DC Arts Service, with support from Aldeburgh Music, Snape Maltings, SCS Services, Tarby Davenport…
