Snape Maltings is a perfect place for taking in the natural beauty surrounding the Suffolk Coast, and there are regular guided walks for visitors to enjoy.  

One special event held at Snape Maltings gave walkers the opportunity to be enthralled by folk-tales inspired by the landscape – told by well known and well loved Storyteller Mike Dodsworth.

Mike trained at Exeter University before touring as an actor, musician and acrobat. He now tours as a story teller, as well as training others in this rediscovered artform.

Mike guided groups on a gentle ramble as he unravelled the threads of his stories. This was a pleasant and memorable outdoor experience in the company of a magnetic and spellbinding performer. Mike’s speciality is high-energy physically led story telling, with a strong level of audience participation.
