Another great course on offer at The Food Hub Cookery School, Kenton Hall with their introduction to Simple Indian Cooking with Padmaja Kochera.
So many people love an Indian curry but don’t know how to cook it or recreate that authentic Indian flavour at home. Padmaja Kochera will introduce you to Indian spices and give you a hands on lesson, so you can learn how to cook simple, yet delicious Indian dishes in the comfort of your own kitchen!
Padmaja is a Civil Engineer by profession and also a Chef and food writer. Paddy (as she is known) loves home cooking and has infectious enthusiasm for authentic Indian cuisine. In 2008, she was a winner on the BBC 2 programme ‘Step Up to the Plate’ which challenges the talents of upcoming chef against Paul Rankin and John Burton Race.
Paddy spent her childhood eating authentic Indian food. Her cooking style is simple, authentic and flavoursome. She has an experimental style, which incorporates trying new techniques and methods to provide her own twist on traditional Indian recipes.
