Tucked away at a nature reserve with lots of luxury extras, Secret Meadows takes glamping to new heights.

Secret Meadows offers award winning accommodation, green-themed activities and special packages. Luxury Lodge Tents, a two-storey safari tent, Gypsy’s Rest and The Horsebox Hideaway are set in individual woodland glades overlooking wildflower meadows.

There are over 100 acres of nature reserve with nature trails and a labyrinth for families to enjoy. Children also love visiting the friendly conservation cattle, hens (the private hen coop hire comes highly recommended!), pet pig and goat.

Accommodation combines rustic charm with excellent facilities including private loo and shower, fully equipped kitchen with hot running water, fridge, barbeque and fire bowl with many extra touches to make holidays special. Organic towels, complimentary hand-made soaps, and a welcome tea tray are provided, and beds are ready-made for your arrival.

An onsite pantry shop is full of quality produce (with lots of locally sourced food) and wildlife themed gifts. Guided by an environmental ethos and owned by a wildlife charity, profits go to nature conservation.

Secret Meadows 'Specials' include luxury food and celebration hampers, wood-fired hot tub, hen coop hire, whittling/fire/green woodworking workshops, Meet the Animals activity, and there is an onsite pantry shop stocked by the local farm shop.

Flexible Bookings

In the event of a local or national Lockdown: If you can't travel due to government COVID-19 restrictions in your area or if you are concerned your holiday destination (Secret Meadows) may be closed please get in touch with Secret Meadows by email or at 01394 337 337. If either of the above apply you will have the option to transfer your holiday to a date up to the end of the next glamping season or have a full refund, with no administration fee. If you choose your rescheduled dates in a higher price range you will need to pay the difference and if you choose to reschedule in a lower price range the price difference will be refunded.

If there is no local or national lockdown preventing you from travelling to stay at Secret Meadows: Secret Meadows normal deposit and balance terms and conditions will apply: 30% non refundable deposit and the balance payment is non refundable within 10 weeks of the holiday start date.
