We dream of warm, long summer days all winter. So now that it’s finally here let’s not waste a minute of it!
At last that summer break or day trip with the family has finally arrived and you can be sure we’re all geared up on the Suffolk Coast to make sure you have the best time ever…
It goes without saying that we have some of the best beaches in the world on this coast so you’d be missing out if you didn’t venture over to where the sand meets sea at least once! Go armed with buckets and spades for the kids, a picnic and plenty of sun cream (the sun’s strength can be deceiving when there’s a sea breeze). The best thing is, it won’t cost a penny unless you’re tempted to splash out on some ice-creams to keep you cool!
If you visit the award winning Blue Flag Beach in Lowestoft it’s worth checking out all the family entertainment on offer at the Claremont Pier… Roller skating, amusements, plus some lovely eateries including Nemos – famous for its mouth-watering fish and chips!
‘That’s the way to do it!’ - Southwold has a couple of new characters taking up residency on the famous pier this summer – It’s Punch and Judy! This traditional seaside duo is guaranteed to keep the whole family entertained and, once again it’s completely free!
After the excitement of watching Mr Punch and Co, head over to the Southwold Boating Lake and Tearooms to refresh and unwind with a lovely cuppa and homemade cake. You can watch while the kids have fun on the peddle boats or crazy golf.
