4. A tour of the Adnams Brewery

TTDA - Adnams Brewery and Distillery Tours

Dad can learn how beer is made with a tour of the famous Adnams Brewery and Distillery in Southwold. Learn about the ingredients used and how Adnams makes their beer using self-cleaning brew steam and enjoy sampling the final product! 

If he prefers a glass of gin, then a tour of the Copper House Distillery will be right up his street! Discover how Adnams create their range of award-winning spirits from the start of the process in our super-efficient brewery through to distilling and, of course, sampling the finished product.

Both tours take approximately 1 hour and are followed by a tutored tasting, which takes around 30 minutes. The tours cost £12 per person.

5. Canoe, Kayak or Paddleboard along the Alde Estuary
