The Crown at Woodbridge
Treat your mum to an indulgent lunch out on Mothering Sunday at The Crown at Woodbridge. The three-course menu will be served from 12pm until 8pm but book a table from 4pm onwards and children up to 12 years of age can eat for free from the kids’ menu. All mums will also receive a tempting little chocolate something to take back home.
Starters include an oak smoked salmon parcel, homemade ‘brawn’ pork terrine and a caramelised red onion and parmesan tart. For mains there’s a choice of two succulent roasts as well as fish and vegetarian dishes, while the tempting desserts include a steamed orange and white chocolate sponge or a lemon tart with meringue and citrus cream as well as a British cheese platter.
This special Mothering Sunday menu is priced at £35 per person for the three courses. The ‘kids eat for free’ offer is subject to a maximum of two children per adult and if you would like to make a night of it rooms are from £105 bed and breakfast for two sharing.

On Sunday 11th March, Chef Nicola will be offering a special Sunday lunch menu to honour the mums, grandmothers, aunties and godmothers. The beautiful cafe which is located within the nursery is the perfect place to enjoy an afternoon. Wander around the plants, flowers, trees and homewares where you can also buy your mum a gift, before sitting down to a meal of roasted garlic chicken with delicious vegetable side dishes or heritage beetroot tarte tatin. Finish your meal with rhubard, blood orange and almond mess.

Ivy House Country Hotel
With views of the Suffolk and Norfolk Broads, your mum will love being treated to a meal at Ivy House Country Hotel. There are two restaurants to choose from; the hotel's restaurant and the Cooked Barn each boasting a delicious 3-course menu. All mums that dine will also receive a pot plant as a gift!
In the restaurant, choose from chicken liver pate, prawn cocktail or goats cheese crostini for starter; fillet of salmon, roast beef, roast loin of pork or vegetable Wellington for main and finish your meal with vanilla cheesecake or warm chocolate brownie. The menu £22.50 for adults and £10 for children.
In the Crooked Barn there's duo of soup, salmon and prawn tian, chicken asparagus terrine or Portabella stuffed mushroom to start; fillet of herb crusted cod, roast beef, stuffed chicken breast and beetroot and basil risotto for main and an assiette of desserts to finish. £32.95 for adults and £15 for children.

You can enjoy a special Mothers Day afternoon tea in The Hangar at Milsoms Kesgrave Hall near Ipswich on both Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th March. The White Lion
