Suffolk Food Hall has everything you’d expect from a large farm shop and more. It is the 10 year Champion of Champions for Local Food (Countryside Alliance rural oscars) and it’s also an ideal location to the Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
From an artisan butchery to the bouncy pillow outside for the children, it's a mix of Suffolk's best.
Since opening in May 2007, Suffolk Food Hall quickly established itself as an exemplar for local food. Started by Suffolk farmers who wanted to ensure friends had the best access to much of the fresh and original food produced locally; the Food Hall brings together the best local specialists and has a wide selection of artisan and luxury food and drink including a market hall, scratch baker, traditional butcher, delicatessen, chocolatier and greengrocer. Visitors also enjoy browsing the home and garden areas of the shop, a popular destination for food-related gift shopping.
With the opening of The Cook House restaurant in July 2012, Suffolk Food Hall continued to expand its offering, with a menu focusing on local produce and seasonal recipes.
Children love to play on the unique jumping pillow, while parents enjoy a coffee in the very popular cafe, oh and don't forget the new gelato hut too. The covered Café area opened in late 2021, with a whole new area to enjoy in all weather conditions, the fully landscaped area provides those views of the Orwell Estuary, much like the Restaurant.

There is ample free parking and group tours welcome. Please note that dogs are allowed outside but not in the Food Hall or Cook House.
