Blackdog Antiques and Events

Blackdog Antiques is set at the top of the historic Market Place in Halesworth. Built around 1570 the Grade II* listed property is the perfect setting for the eclectic mix of antiques, vintage and mid-century modern pieces that it houses.  It is also the registered office for A Blackdog Event Ltd

Blackdog Antiques can be found at 12 Market Place, Halesworth.  Halesworth is just 9 miles from Southwold and the beautiful Suffolk Coast. The town has a pedestrianised Thoroughfare featuring lots of small independent businesses but head towards the church and you will come across the Medieval Market Place, Blackdog sits proudly at the top end.

The beautiful Tudor building formerly a Merchant's house has undergone major restoration and is a treat to see. Inside you will find antique pine and mahogany pieces, mid-century modern industrial, vintage tools, pictures, taxidermy and lots more. A BLACKDOG EVENT LTD is an offshoot of Blackdog Antiques and was created soon after Blackdog moved to the Market Place in Halesworth. It has grown from a monthly antiques fair to organising six large events over the course of the year and 2021 will also see a new indoor Winter Fair at Glemham Hall.   • Glemham Hall - Winter Fair - 13th/14th November 2021 - this will be an indoor event.

The Grand Brocantes, so named after the rather grand locations where they are held, will this year be at Glemham Hall, Riddlesworth Hall and the very beautiful Woolverstone Hall. The Grand Brocantes are primarily Antique & Vintage events but there are also some selected local artisan stalls as well as food to go. You can expect to find around 80 stalls selling an eclectic mix of antiques and vintage items. 

Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome at all the Grand Brocantes.  Disabled parking and onsite facilities, also available.  The cost of admission to the Grand Brocantes is £3 per person (under 14 free). There is no need to pre-book tickets, they can be bought on the gate with payment either cash or contactless.

The final fair of the year will be held on the 13th/14th November 2021. The Winter Fair will be held in the main rooms of Glemham Hall and the beautiful Wedding Marquee. More details about this event will be published later.
