Leiston Football Club

Hidden away in the industrial town of Leiston is one of the jewels in the sporting crown of Suffolk. Leiston FC has been in existence since 1880 but it is its recent history that has made it the go to venue for football fans in the area.

Leiston FC is the premier non-league club in Suffolk, playing in the Bostik Premier League (The Isthmian League), with only Ipswich Town holding a higher ranking in the football pyramid.

Their base is at the LTAA in Victory Road in Leiston and here, tucked away at the end of a residential road edged by Victory Road Recreation Ground, you will find both a welcoming club and stadium. It might not be the biggest stadium but it certainly aims to deliver a friendly welcome coupled with an attractive winning style of playing that is the trademark of its present manager, Glenn Driver.

With 8 teams in the Leiston FC fold there is a game to watch most Saturdays during the playing season, be it the first team, reserves, U18 or other youth teams. There are also frequent midweek matches on a Tuesday, or Thursday for the U18s.

Pop along and enjoy a game!

Admission prices are £10, with £7 for Over 65s, £5 for students with ID cards and all U16s free.

Refreshments are available at the ground from the clubhouse or Snack Hatch.
