Screen Suffolk offers a ‘one-stop’ film service, from initial enquiry through to crew sourcing and permitting.
Screen Suffolk aim is to make Suffolk the most film-friendly county in the UK. You can already find many film locations in the county. The popular BBC4 comedy show the 'Detectorists' was filmed around the pretty town of Framlingham and last year 'Yesterday', the new film from Danny Boyle and Richard Curtis shot in Halesworth, Shingle St and Dunwich.
Suffolk has an astounding variety of locations. You’ll find the expected picturesque villages, historic buildings and windswept beaches. But you will also find the unexpected. There are urban streetscapes, dockyards, estuaries, derelict buildings and airfields in abundance.
Visit the Screen Suffolk website and take a look at the location hub on the right, or use our interactive map which has all the locations listed and can be searched by type or property period.
