With its ‘village’ pubs serving locally crafted ales and a choice of local street food, an art arcade, Kinedrome, Gardener's Cornered, talks and walks, instrument makers, mud kitchen, storytellers, poets there is much to see and to do for all the family.
The 2017 line up includes Jon Boden, Lau, The Dhol Foundation, Sam Kelly and the Lost Boys, The Young’uns, Martin Carthy and John Kirkpatrick, Martin Simpson, Fay Hield and Beoga, with many more confirmed.
“Five years young, FolkEast feels more like a very English village fete than a festival, with the good humour and unpretentiousness of its patrons, the Young’uns, the guiding vibe.” The Guardian ****
