Aldeburgh Christmas Festivities

A special Christmas festival and light switch-on

Join us on 7th December 2019 as the community of Aldeburgh have come together to organise a festive day for residents and visitors to the town.

Visit the Parish Church for their Christmas Tree Festival; head to the Church Hall for a ‘Victorian Market’; book for a circuit round the festive skating rink at the Jubilee Hall; follow the Dickensian Christmas trail organised by Aldeburgh Museum; and visit Santa in his grotto at the Baptist Chapel.

The day will culminate with the switch-on of the Christmas lights on the High Street at 16.30 by the Aldeburgh Carnival Queen Poppy Martinez and Dickens characters Oliver Twist (Harrison Newrick-Meades) and the Artful Dodger (Archie Hill)!
