Beachcombing on Sizewell Beach

Sizewell beach is cracking for beachcombed treasures including fossils.

An opportunity to explore Sizewell beach, its plants and the treasures that have washed up on the tide. We will also be looking for 1-2 million year old pieces of coralline crag which are rich in fossils. there will also be a chance to see some more unusual beachcombed treasures.

Beachcomb starts at 2:30pm & will end at 4:30pm. Please arrive ten minutes before the beachcomb begins so we can start promptly -- if you are late you won't be able to join in. £5 per person. No booking required.

NOTE: You will walk a fair way. If you have limited mobility or very small children go to Felixstowe Beach instead. Otherwise, suitable for all ages from 5 to 105!

Meet at the large brick toilet park in the Sizewell beach pay & display car park

Please wrap up warm & wear suitable shoes.

The weather can be very changeable but the beachcomb will go ahead unless it's torrential rain or high winds.

Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome.
