Conservation Week at Africa Alive Zoological Reserve

Reconnect with the animals you know and love this summer at Africa Alive Zoological Reserve

Week 2 of Africa Alive's Six Weeks of Summer program celebrates their conservation initiatives and aims to bring learning to life.

Part of Africa Alive Zoological Reserve's mission is to accelerate the preservation of wild and native species for a sustainable future. But they cannot achieve this alone.

With increased conservation talks and a free conservation-themed trail, come and learn more about how Africa Alive is protecting critically endangered animals, saving wildlife, and improving biodiversity in our environment to help tackle the climate emergency.

Together you can make a difference. As part of ZSEA Conservation week, they are asking the public to become ‘conservation citizen scientists’ helping to spot and identify native species on site. Guests will have the opportunity to learn more about how they are making a difference locally, through collaborations with the RSPB’s Operation Turtle Dove and habitat management for native species.
