Music by the Sea
Free open air concert in Aldeburgh
The free Music by the Sea open air charity concert returns to Aldeburgh on Saturday 30th June 2018 with a great line-up of national and local artists performing live from 4pm until dark.
Taking place in the King’s Field, top acts at this summer’s concert include a dynamic ELO tribute band and popular Suffolk band Albion Mills playing their repertoire of classic rock and pop from the Golden Age of the 60's and 70's.
Other confirmed performers include Everly Everly and rock ‘n roll band J.S & The Lockerbillies, who are sure to get the audience up on their feet.
Excited with the return to Aldeburgh, Peter Osborne, Managing Director, Coastal Operations for the TA Hotel Collection said, “We are delighted to once again be holding Music by the Sea back in Aldeburgh this year thanks to the kind support of Aldeburgh Town Council. We look forward to getting everyone up dancing and enjoying themselves”.
Prosecco, Pimm’s and beer marquees plus a BBQ and alternative food outlets from Suffolk, will provide fuel for dancing late into the evening. There will also be a children’s area to keep little ones happily entertained, while a sensational firework display will bring the evening to a rousing finale at 10pm.
The charity for this year will be Inspire Suffolk, which supports young people to overcome challenges they are facing and onto a positive future in employment or further training through their numerous personal development programmes and activities. The event is kindly being sponsored by the TA Hotel Collection, Suffolk Secrets, East of England Co-Op and Direct Seafoods.
There will be a park and ride service to this free event operating from two Thorpeness car park areas, as well as parking next to the concert arena.
