Singing with Children and Adolescents

Dr Jenevora Williams will lead participants in an afternoon of discovering how to work safely with young voices.

During this highly practical session, you will explore the physical development of the child's voice through to the adolescent voice. You will be shown how to work safely with the voice so that it can develop with strength.

Come and join Britten Pears Arts for this fabulous session learning about the science behind vocal health and have a fantastic uplifting time singing and sharing excellent practice with colleagues.


Singing with Children aged 7 – 12 years old:

· Vocal Health and physical development:

· Singing in Tune

· Singing technique (what can the voice achieve and what it can’t achieve

· Selecting and using good quality, voice appropriate repertoire.


Singing with Adolescents:

· Adolescent girls’ & boys’ voices

· Technique: what they can and can’t do

· Vocal Health and physical development

· The changing voice: Boys and Girls

· Selecting and using good quality, voice appropriate repertoire.

Price: £20 per person or book both of the days courses for £35 which will include a light lunch.
