Southwold Outdoor Cinema - Bridget Jones's Diary

Southwold’s Outdoor Cinema is back by popular demand screening some of the most highly acclaimed films this summer.

"The is one of the funniest romances – Grant, Firth and Zellweger are on form."

Helen Fielding’s infamous journal-keeper makes her big-screen debut, armed with Chardonnay, fags and a king-size bar of chocolate. And with gorgeous boss Daniel and hunky barrister Mark vying for her affections.

Hosted within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, audiences will experience the stunning sunset and local hospitality before the movie begins. All films are shown on the UK’s largest 42ft screen, and audiences listen via state-of-the-art noise-canceling headphones while seated in their own socially distanced pitches.

With a film for everyone to enjoy, from action and drama to romance and rock'n'roll to musical and comedy, Southwold's Outdoor Cinema is the best ‘socially distanced’ way to bring cinema back to Suffolk!

Proceeds from the events will be donated to Comic Relief.
