Southwold Sportive and Roubaix

Pedal Revolution in partnership with Adnams are thrilled to announce an exciting new event at the start of the cycling calendar.

The Southwold Sportive featuring The Southwold ‘Roubaix’ will be held on the 8th April 2018 in the picturesque seaside town.

With distances to suit all ages and abilities, this recreational cycle ride promises to be an exciting day out for the whole family

The Southwold Sportive is a recreational cycle ride featuring 25 and 50 mile routes as well as a short family friendly ride ideal for little legs.

Held mainly on quiet roads each route will incorporate optional rough and unmade paths. The 75 mile Southwold ‘Roubaix‘, our tribute to the famous Paris-Roubaix cycle race will be gentler than the Arenberg Forest, but will still feature several sections of rough, unmade paths.

The cyclists will explore the stunning Suffolk countryside and enjoy lunch at a fabulous Adnams pub before heading back to Southwold with an optional 2 mile tough hero lap for the brave and foolhardy.

Your rewards for completing this challenge will be the warm welcome from the many Adnams establishments along the way for rest & refreshments and the cheer you receive as you sprint to the finish line for your medal and goodie bag.

Fully sign-posted and supported with mobile mechanic and ‘broom wagon’, drink stops along the way and a huge choice of cafés, pubs and restaurants in Southwold for coffee and cake, or Sunday Lunch.
