Stories by the piano at The Red House

A 10 minute talk on Britten's ‘American’ music during the Aldeburgh Festival. Visiting American academic and vocal tutor Dr Justin Vickers will spend 10 minutes by the beautiful Steinway in Britten’s Library, discussing and singing from the ‘American’ music in Britten’s repertoire.

These talks will take place on Monday 11th and Monday 18th June at 3pm, and on Thursday 21st and Friday 22nd June at 11.30am.

Opening times: The whole site is open daily from 11am-4pm.

There are no Red House tours during the Festival.

Admission: £5.50 (valid for one year)Under 16s: freeArt Fund: £2.75 on presentation of National Art Pass.

Accessibility: The site is wheelchair-accessible except for the Composition Studio and the upstairs rooms of the House (360° virtual visits are available).

Blue Badge parking is available and the minibus has space for one wheelchair.
