Suffolk Coast: Great British Beach Clean 2018!

Take part in the UK's biggest beach clean up and survey

Treat the beaches of east Suffolk to a litter pick and survey what you collect, as part of the Great British Beach Clean 2018. Volunteer to run your own group or take part with one of the 'open' groups, over the middle weekend of September. The Marine Conservation Society UK help people all around the UK to care for their coastline, and Suffolk Coast & Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) help local groups with information and equipment to join in.
Some of our best-loved marine wildlife is under threat from the waste and litter in our seas, with hundreds of species accidentally eating or becoming entangled in litter. It's also dangerous for people and damaging to our tourism and fishing industries. We all have a part to play in turning the tide on litter. Join an event or organise your own and be part of the most influential fight against marine litter in the UK!
