The 24th Aldeburgh Documentary Festival

You Bring the Questions, We Bring the Docs

Artistic Director Jill Green once again produces Aldeburgh's Documentary Festival, now in its 24th year.

This year's Aldeburgh Documentary Festival takes place 2-4 November and welcomes back the BBC's NICK ROBINSON while saying hello to a bevvy of new guest speakers including;

  • author KATE MOSSE
  • war photographer PAUL CONROY
  • BBC technology correspondent RORY CELLAN-JONES
  • award-winning Suffolk-based photographer BILL JACKSON
  • and acclaimed documentary filmmaker NICK BROOMFIELD, who is this year's recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Documentary award.

Artistic Director Jill Green has made this year a "focus on British docs", with seven of this year's films made by British filmmakers (many of whom will be attending the festival for Q&A sessions following the films).Tickets are selling fast for this year's events so early booking is advised.

The Documentary Festival is now in its 24th year and has grown from a small weekend get-together into a nationally respected festival and a forum in which audiences have the unique ability to hear directly from the filmmakers themselves.
