The Blues Bluffers

LIVE + Support

The Blues Bluffers will be appearing at Beccles Public Hall on Saturday 20th April following appearances at Norwich Arts Centre, festivals and other East Anglian theatres.

The fantastic live tribute show to the Blues Brothers say they have a “full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes and are wearing sunglasses and are looking forward to their first appearance in Beccles”.

The Blues Bluffers have been described as larger than life and “On a mission from God” and comprise seven performers, including a live band with brass section made up of some of the regions best musicians and Suffolk based singing duo, brothers Paul and Stephen Amer.

The show features all the hit songs from the cult soundtrack as well as other soul classics and dance-floor fillers and promises plenty of fun, lots of energy and to get everybody on their feet.

Supporting the show is Norfolk’s very own Ska kings Umgawa Kagooga, who will be playing a set ahead of the show with their inimitable mix of Ska, Two Tone and Reggae including songs from the likes of Madness, Bad Manners, UB40 and The Specials among others as well as deejay ‘The Record Player’ playing the best R&B, Soul and Motown.

The show starts at 7.30pm with a set from Umgawa Kagooga and the Blues Bluffers appearing afterwards. Tickets are £11 in advance or £12 on the door and are available from the public hall box office on 01502 770060 or by visiting
