The Alex Café Bar & Brasserie

Offering panoramic sea views, The Alex has a fabulous seafront setting just across from the promenade in Felixstowe where you can watch the world go by whilst enjoying great food and drink!

The Café Bar on the ground floor, offers a full range of drinks plus a menu featuring breakfasts and the Café Favourites in a relaxed setting. Order a freshly ground coffee and a slice of cake, partake of a jug of cocktail or Adnams bitter and chill out on the large heated patio overlooking the sea.

The Alex Brasserie, on the first floor (lift access) is an informal venue offering seafood, grill and classic brasserie style fayre. The full menu is complemented by a set menu available noon till 6pm, Monday to Friday and a choice of traditional roasts on Sundays - food service noon - 8.30pm on Sundays. 

New... Afternoon Tea in The Alex Brasserie

The new addition of afternoon tea in The Alex Brasserie is now available Monday - Friday, 3pm to 5pm (excluding public holidays). The menu includes freshly baked scones, freshly made sandwiches and a choice of teas and coffees.

A lovely way to spend the afternoon whilst enjoying the amazing sea views.

Cocktail Time in The Café Bar

Happy Hour(s) 5pm - 7pm every day - all the delicious cocktails are only £5 each (or less). Made with premium products and passion.

The summer cocktail menu has fresh, new varieties including a sweet but headstrong Lady Sybil, 'berry' nice Gin Rosado along with mojitos and sangria. A refreshing treat any time of day.
There are also some very moreish mocktails for the designated driver.
