Offering panoramic sea views, The Alex has a fabulous seafront setting just across from the promenade in Felixstowe where you can watch the world go by whilst enjoying great food and drink!
The Café Bar on the ground floor, offers a full range of drinks plus a menu featuring breakfasts and the Café Favourites in a relaxed setting. Order a freshly ground coffee and a slice of cake, partake of a jug of cocktail or Adnams bitter and chill out on the large heated patio overlooking the sea.
The Alex Brasserie, on the first floor (lift access) is an informal venue offering seafood, grill and classic brasserie style fayre. The full menu is complemented by a set menu available noon till 6pm, Monday to Friday and a choice of traditional roasts on Sundays.
New... Afternoon Tea in The Alex Brasserie
The new addition of afternoon tea in The Alex Brasserie is now available Monday - Friday, 3pm to 5pm (excluding public holidays). The menu includes freshly baked scones, freshly made sandwiches and a choice of teas and coffees.
A lovely way to spend the afternoon whilst enjoying the amazing sea views.

On Sundays, The Brassiere hosts Jazz East, an informal jazz club featuring a changing line up of world class musicians, and entrance is free. The Brasserie is open all day, every day and benefits from an unrivalled, panoramic sea view.

To accommodate Jazz East, last seating for a la carte food service in The Brasserie will be at 7pm. After which orders will be taken at the bar for the Café Bar menu, bar snacks and, of course drinks!
(On Sundays when there is no jazz, the last seating for a la carte food service will be at 8.30pm)
Dogs are very welcome on the patio area but not inside The Alex.
