Suffolk Sandlands Metal Detecting - Butley Priory

Guests will stay in the beautiful Grade 2 Georgian farmhouse with a large south facing garden. Situated in peaceful countryside and surrounded by ancient woodland, the farmhouse has 12 double bedrooms, a drawing room, morning room, library and large dining room. After a day metal detecting in the field, detectorists will return to the farmhouse for talks from local historians and archaeologists, before gathering for a delicious dinner prepared by a private chef. 

The fully inclusive tours include transfer from Melton Station & transport to and from the field each day, three nights accommodation, full English breakfast, delicious packed lunch with refreshments, afternoon tea and a two course dinner with wine. Three full days metal detecting guided by an experienced host for the duration of your stay. Expert identification of finds, recording of artefacts with the PAS if required and your own personal finds box provided for all your finds. 

Butley Priory is close to the pretty towns of Woodbridge & Orford with many independent shops and restaurants.

It is required that all detectorists are members of the NCMD for insurance purposes and that you sign a Permission Agreement on arrival.
