Fire and Feast Suffolk Rustic Dining
If you love good food, woodfires and getting away from it all then Fire and Feast Suffolk is the place for you. Offering Spring, Autumn and Summer pop up suppers that celebrate the best of Suffolk produce in a big hat tipi in beautiful rural Suffolk as well as woodfire cooking experiences and workshops featuring local makers.
The big hat Tipi is also open late May to mid September for Saturday Dinner and Sunday brunches, alongside a peaceful wildflower camping meadow beneath dark skies.
With big Suffolk skies above and a backdrop of birdsong and meadow flowers rustling in the breeze, the family farm is just the place for an alfresco meal with friends in the giant tipi or a lazy Sunday brunch. Look out for the special events where you can enjoy star gazing, story telling or sample food from talented local chefs that take over the kitchen and our fire cage to produce mouth watering fire feasts.
Special Events & Workshops
Between March and November the Tipi plays host to a range of events including guest chefs, special suppers and a range of workshops all with an element of woodfire cooking!
Rustic Saturday Night Suppers
On Saturday evenings between late May and mid September the Fire and Feast giant tipi provides relaxed rustic suppers by firelight using produce from the kitchen garden and local Suffolk farms. Diners can enjoy a drink in the potager garden, dine in the tipi and watch the sun go down around the fire bowl sipping locally roasted coffee.
The fixed price menu changes weekly with options for two and three course meals so that seasonal local produce can be the star of the show. Children are welcome and we are happy to cater for most dietary requirements with notice. A selection of soft drinks is available and diners are welcome to bring their own wine and beer. See the website for a sample menu. Larger groups are welcome, but will be asked to pre-order.
Booking essential: phone 01986 798340 or email judith@fireandfeastsuffolk.co.uk
Sunday Brunch Cafe
On Sundays the Fire and Feast Tipi and garden become a brunch café offering home-cooked breakfast and brunch, cake, light lunches and locally roasted coffee. No need to book just drop by, unless there are more than 6 in your party when booking is advised.
Open from 10am to 2pm each Sunday from late May to mid September. See the website for further details. Discount for walkers and cyclists - or bring the car and enjoy a local walk from the tipi.
Dogs on a lead are welcome in the Herb Garden (but not the campsite itself) so walkers can stop for refreshments.
Cycle Friendly Fire & Feast have undercover bike racks, so whether you're stopping here as part of your cycling holiday, or fancy getting to and from your meal on two wheels, your bike can be stored safely.
