Delicious food, incredible music and unique workshops are all here to be discovered at Froize, a rustic, rural restaurant and music venue close to the historic town of Woodbridge and delightful village of Orford.

David Grimwood's holy trinity of 'Music, Food and Nature' all come together under one roof:

"As a Suffolk boy - born and bred - it was always my intention to have my own business here in the heart of my beloved county, where I could indulge myself and all my customers with the foods I love to cook and eat. I am passionate about the amazing food products found here in East Anglia, and the terrific people who produce them.

Quality, sustainability, freshness, food miles and fair trade are all words used so often these days as marketing tools to increase sales - but I see them as key ingredients in the success of my business - top quality, seasonal fresh food, sourced locally at a sensible price.

Froize is also where I like to indulge my other passions, Music and Nature! Every few weeks, our restaurant transforms into an intimate music venue and over the last 10 years we are proud to have hosted many of the best folk artists from the UK and Europe under the name 'Folk at The Froize". With Froize Uncovered, we also have a regular series of Wildlife Walks which take participants on a guided walk with birding experts around our spectacular countryside in search of natures latest offerings. It's hungry work of course, and everyone enjoys a super two course lunch on there return!
