The Farmhouse Kitchen & Pantry

The Farmhouse Kitchen & The Pantry are located at Wheatacre Hall Farm, a family-run, 1,000-acre working farm in the beautiful rural village of Wheatacre near Beccles. Together, the café and farm shop offer visitors a welcoming place to eat, shop, and experience life on a working farm, whether stopping by for a coffee, a relaxed meal, or to stock up on quality local produce.

The Pantry is the on-site farm shop, created to serve the local community with fresh, high-quality food sourced as locally as possible. Open seven days a week, it is well stocked with a wide range of produce including freshly baked bread, meat, fruit and vegetables, dairy products from the farm’s own cows, frozen foods, gifts, and seasonal items. Situated on an active working farm, visitors can often see the farm’s milking herd grazing nearby during the summer months.

Following the success of The Pantry, The Farmhouse Kitchen was created to provide a comfortable and friendly café space where people could meet, relax, and enjoy good food together. The café operates under a farm-to-fork philosophy, with an ever-changing menu based on fresh, seasonal ingredients. Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon tea are served, alongside classic favourites, chef’s specials, and dairy-based dishes made using milk from the farm’s own pedigree milking herd of nearly 500 cows.
