The Queen's Head at Bramfield

A stunningly refurbished 16th century listed dining country pub with stunning gardens. Dogs welcome!

Enjoy locally sourced, freshly prepared food in a warm, family-friendly environment. With all day opening hours, seasonal menus and an extensive wine and gin list, you can feel very comfortable in this historic public house. There is a regularly changing menu with daily specials and local cask ales. The freehouse likes to support breweries in and around East Anglia (just as well as Suffolk produces some of the best ales in the country!)

This astounding 16th century Grade II listed building was purchased from Adnams Brewery by a private buyer in 2016, and has been lovingly restored to showcase its beautiful original beams, large open fireplaces and elegant vaulted ceilings.

Offering a completely fresh food menu, which is predominantly British with a twist. The Queen's Head is well known for a vast selection of gluten-free dishes and offer a great choice for coeliacs.

In the summer months (April to October) they serve their full main menu plus a delightful array of ever-changing specials on the boards Monday to Saturday 12pm to 8:30pm and Sundays 12pm to 7pm. In the  winter months, they serve the full menu from 12 - 8pm Wednesday to Saturday and 12 - 6pm on Sundays and a gorgeous stonebaked sourdough pizza menu on Mondays and Tuesdays. Takeaway is also available and a 10% discount from the menu price will be applied on ordering. Visit their website to view current menus, events and more queensheadbramfield.co.uk

There is always something going on at The Queen's Head at Bramfield, from themed food events to pub quizzes, live music to beer festivals. Check out the News & Events page of the website to find out what's coming up next.

Bramfield itself is a fascinating little village, and is home to the only church in Suffolk with a detached bell tower. Local historian June Brereton gives a wonderful insight into the history of the village and pub, which can you read here.

Dogs kept on a lead are most welcome here, with both the bar and Long bar being available to dine with your four legged friends. Complimentary Bonios are always behind the bar, along with water bowls! Free waste bags are provided in our beautiful gardens and we respectfully request owners exercise their use when needed.

Not a dog fan? No problem - simply request your table in the snug, the pretty restaurant area.
