The Suffolk

George Pell and the team opened The Suffolk in August 2022 following a dramatic yet sensitive refurbishment of the historic building located in the heart of Aldeburgh. The Suffolk is home to a 60-cover restaurant, rooftop terrace complete with sea views, wine bar, a 24-seater private dining room and six elegantly appointed bedrooms. 

Suffolk born and raised Head Chef, Tom Payne, cooks a menu celebrating the abundant produce from the surrounding unspoilt East Coast while shining a spotlight on its world class producers.
