View Point Cafe

View Point Cafe is currently closed in line with government guidelines.

View Point Cafe is a modern and friendly cafe with both indoor and outdoor seating serving all day breakfasts, snacks, fish and chips, 'dish of the day', cakes, ice cream, teas and coffees.

Take in the stunning views across the river and the opportunity to watch the huge cargo ships being loaded and unloaded at the Port of Felixstowe whilst you tuck into a tug driver’s breakfast or relax with a coffee and cake. Perfect for fish and ships!

The View Point Cafe is set on the unique Landguard Peninsula, on the Orwell estuary, a nature reserve which is home to a diversity of flora, fauna, birds and wildlife. It's also home to Landguard Fort, one of Britain's best-preserved coastal defences which has played a key strategic role in the defence of the British Isles since the 1500's. It's a 'must see' attraction along with the fascinating collections held at the Felixstowe Museum - right on the doorstep of the cafe. Make sure you bring your binoculars for the ships and bird-watching spectacles!

View Point Cafe, when not closed due to National Lockdown restrictions are operating their winter opening hours of 9am - 4pm daily. After a wander through the common or along the beach, come in to the cafe, or sit on the terrace (dogs welcome), for a refreshing cold drink or a pot of tea and a breakfast butty.

Alongside the popular all day breakfasts View Point Cafe serves snacks such as Welsh rarebit, meals such as Quiche and Pie of the day fish and chips. If you've saved room for dessert then you can continue to watch the busy port activity right outside the cafe whilst tucking in to the homemade hot pudding of the day.

All Yeo Group venues are now cashless.
