The Café Bar occupies the ground floor and patio of The Alex, enjoying a prime seafront position overlooking Felixstowe’s South Promenade. With panoramic sea views and a relaxed coastal atmosphere, it is a welcoming, informal space designed for every part of the day. The bar offers a full range of drinks, including a broad wine list available by the glass or bottle, Adnams draught ales, and an extensive gin and cocktail menu. Freshly ground coffees and a tempting selection of cakes are always available.
Food is served all day, with menus spanning breakfast, brunch, café favourites and bar snacks.
Open seven days a week, 364 days a year, The Café Bar is a natural meeting place for many occasions. It is ideal for after-work drinks with friends, relaxed weekend brunches with family, or mid-morning coffee catch-ups during the week. The large heated patio provides the perfect spot to sit back and watch the world go by, whether enjoying a jug of Southwold in the sunshine or warming up with a hot chocolate and slice of cake after a refreshing walk along the promenade.
