Coastal Voyager

Coastal Voyager is the perfect activity for all ages ranging from families with children to work groups.

Providing a variety of trips to suit people with different interests, such as the exhilarating sea blast for adrenaline seekers or the peaceful river cruise for those looking to experience the outstanding natural beauty of the river Blyth.

Coastal Voyager is a 9M Rigid Inflatable Boat with a deep V hull, equipped with 12 wrap around seats and seat belts that enable you to experience a view of the beautiful seaside town of Southwold that no one else can offer. Down at the harbour there is a friendly and helpful team of staff that are contactable by either phone, email or by visiting during the day - and they're more than happy to look after dogs whilst you're on a trip!

The qualified and highly experienced skippers ensure that you will have an enjoyable experience whilst remaining safe.

The trips on offer include:

The Blast, a four hundred horse power thrill that is our most frequently booked trip and a popular choice for both adults and children that travels in front of the picturesque seaside town - great fun for both rainy and sunny weather;

The Drive of Your Life, an opportunity to privately hire the Coastal Voyager and experience, with the aid of the skipper, being behind the wheel of the 9m 400hp RIB - often a much enjoyed birthday gift;

Seal and Wind Farm, undoubtedly not a trip for the faint-hearted with a direct, high speed journey to Scroby Sands to witness the large seal colony gathered there followed by the wind farm taking 3 hours in total.
Also including a stop at the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk yacht Club to catch your breath and a hot chocolate;

Private 3 Hour Coastal Cruise, this package style trip involves hiring out the boat as a group, an hour stop at the Royal Norfolk & Suffolk Yacht Club (where food is available) and a drive of your life;

River Blyth Cruise, potentially the most breath-taking view there is to offer in Southwold with a mixture of wildlife during the day and glorious sunsets in the evening - there's also an hour stop at the White Hart pub half way through the trip with the option of a meal. A mini-blast is available after the River Cruise but is entirely optional.

Part of the Coastal Voyager experience is being able to share it with others, so the team bring a GoPro camera onto trips (with the consent of all customers) and later post the images on their Facebook page. Customers are also welcome to bring their own cameras to take photos, just make sure the device is waterproof and you understand the risks!
