Excelsior

Excelsior is an iconic part of Suffolk's maritime heritage. She is one of the few remaining Lowestoft sailing trawlers, built in 1921 and is maintained to her original features. National Historic Ships list the vessel as one of the nation's most important historic ships.

Excelsior can take groups of up to 12 people for either a day sail or residential voyages. Her professional crew encourage all guests to become involved with sailing this traditional wooden ship but if sailing isn't your thing you are welcome to sit, relax and experience a day at sea. A picnic lunch of East Anglian produce is provided and beverages are available throughout your sail.

Ideal for celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and other special occasions, a day onboard Excelsior is an experience that will stay with you for life.

How can you sail onboard Excelsior? You can join us on a group daysail from £99pp or even take an exclusive charter with 'posh picnic' and bring your own tipple to enjoy! You can sail from Lowestoft, Ipswich, Harwich and occasionally London! Contact us for more details.
