Felixstowe Museum

Felixstowe Museum is an award-winning community museum where you can engage with military and social history of Suffolk’s most southerly seaside town.

It tells the story of Felixstowe and its people through a wide range of engaging exhibits, with 14 display rooms covering everything from military and maritime history to everyday life in the town. Visitors can explore artefacts such as wartime memorabilia, historic shop displays, and even original features like tramway tracks once used to transport underwater mines to defend the harbour. With its mix of social history, interactive displays, and family-friendly elements, the museum offers a fascinating and accessible insight into the rich heritage of this Suffolk seaside town.

Open Thursday - Sunday, 11am to 5pm
From Easter to 2 November.

The Beehive Cafe is open when the museum is open - no admissions ticket required.
