The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum, located at Flixton near the market town of Bungay, is recognised as East Anglia's Aviation Heritage Centre.

The aim of the aviation museum is to preserve and promote the region’s aviation history and is home to a wide range of exhibits featuring 60+ aircraft and cockpits, 1000's of artefacts including equipment, uniforms, engines, models, records and a myriad of other items, providing a fascinating day out for the whole family.

The Norfolk and Suffolk Aviation Museum is a volunteer-run museum and charity that houses a collection of aircraft and aviation-related artefacts. All our welcome! The museum is family-friendly, wheelchair-friendly and dog-friendly. No advance booking is necessary, just turn up on the day.  This is an affordable and enjoyable day out with lots to see and do with free entry and free parking.

Please see the Facebook page or the NASAM BLOG for opening dates and any restrictions that may be in place.

The museum is open to the general public and available for hire for special event days.

The on-site shop has both museum and aircraft-related items for sale.  Items range in price from "pocket money" upwards, with lots of models and toys for the children.  The shop also serves drinks, sweets and ice creams.

The museum is wheelchair friendly in all areas, apart from aircraft cockpits.  There is  plenty of space for the whole family with picnic tables throughout the site, including the family dog.  Dogs are welcome in all areas apart from the shop and must be kept on a leash at all times.

The NAAFI Café displays numerous pieces of artwork donated to the Museum, alongside serving muffins, crisps, Eccles cakes, flapjacks and numerous other snacks along with soft drinks, tea and coffee.
