The Art Station

The Art Station is an arts charity located in Saxmundham, a historic market town in rural East Suffolk. The Art Station’s two unique venues on the high street have become a base for a FREE dynamic and engaging Art and Learning programme that serves the local community and coastal rural Suffolk and provides access to unique creative opportunities.

The Art Station’s innovative Art and Learning Programme comprises exhibitions, events, talks, walks, tours and screenings, with sessions for all ages built around the programme to offer access to and increase engagement with contemporary creative practice.

The community activities offer a range of accessible creative opportunities for different social groups in the local area with an emphasis on art, wellbeing and collaboration. The riverside garden engages people in our local natural heritage and how we can all value and support the increase of biodiversity and protection of local habitats.
