100 years of St Mary's Clock in Kersey

Kersey Church clock is open for viewing with afternoon tea

A rare chance to climb the tower to view the clock mechanism which is 100 years old this year and then enjoy afternoon tea.

The clock was installed in 1925 and celebrates 100 years of perfect time keeping. It is a two train (strike and going) flatbed installed by Smiths. This is a rare opportunity to climb the spiral staircase and help to wind the clock.

Afterwards, enjoy afternoon tea at the Mad Hatters table, meet the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts and enter your silliest or most wonderful hat into our competition.
