Bird Ringing Demonstration at RSPB Minsmere

Join RSPB for their popular bird ringing demonstrations run by the Waveney Bird Club.

Watch as specially trained volunteers weigh, measure and ring birds under licence, and discover how ringing helps us to learn more about birds' movements and longevity.

These demonstrations run throughout the day, every Thursday during the summer, subject to suitable weather conditions. In the event of rain or strong winds the demos may be cancelled or shortened for the welfare of the birds.

The events are free, and there is no need to book, but usual reserve entry fees apply for non members.
