On Saturday, 28th November, the sounds of singers, the smell of hot food, and the sight of 40 stalls on The Hill at Wickham Market’s Christmas Market will officially kick off the village’s Christmas preparations.
40 skilled makers, crafters and producers will highlight a truly local Christmas Market.
From hot sauce to spice up your sprouts to small-batch bakes, handmade gifts, pottery and organic skin care products, wreaths, and decorations, visitors will find a treasure trove of unique Christmas gift ideas.
Wickham’s Christmas Market makes shopping a fun and enjoyable experience for the whole family. The people who run the stalls are the same ones who craft their products in workshops and small kitchens, creating a unique and personal connection to each item.
A visit to Santa’s grotto (organised by the school PTA) is a must for children. The primary school choir and local musician Nigel Ashcroft will perform during the event.
The outdoor Christmas Market will be held from 9am to 2pm on Saturday, 28th November, on The Hill in Wickham Market. Local, independent businesses, shops, and cafes in the village will be open. Paid parking is available in nearby car parks.
