Sailor Swift (aka Pete Morton) starts the new season at the Everyman Folk Club - on Friday 25 September. Moments of utter beauty, breathtaking audacity, and sing-a-long choruses.
Enjoy 400-years of the folk tradition – not necessarily in the right order - by the versatile and energetic artist formally known as Pete Morton. As the friendly ghost of Sailor Swift, Pete delivers an unruly, freewheeling mix of song, storytelling, and comedy, in a joyful ramble of folk song, music hall, popular classics and talking blues. Moments of utter beauty, breathtaking audacity, and sing-a-long choruses.The Everyman Folk Club meets on the last Friday of each month during January to May and September to November. With Residents, Floor Singers and a Booked Guest Artist on every occasion, there is always a warm welcome for new performers and audience members at our friendly, traditional folk club.
Doors open at 7.00pm and all events start at 7.30pm prompt.
